Modem Interface Configuration Command Set Command Reference Guide

MODEM INTERFACE CONFIGURATION COMMAND SET

To activate the Modem Interface Configuration command set, enter the interface modem command at the

Global Configuration Mode prompt. For example:

Router>

enable

Router#

configure terminal

Router(config)#

interface modem 1/2

Router(config-modem 1/2)#

The modem interface number in the example above is shown as modem 1/2. This number is

based on the interface’s location (slot/port) and could vary depending on the unit’s

configuration. Use the do show interfaces command to determine the appropriate

interface number.
