speed <rate>
Use the speed command to configure the speed of an Ethernet interface. Use the no form of this command
to return to the default value.
Syntax Description
<rate>
Defines the rate of the Ethernet port
10
10 Mb Ethernet
100
100 Mb Ethernet
auto
*Optional
Automatically detects 10 or 100 Mb Ethernet and negotiates the duplex
setting
If the speed is manually set to 10 or 100, the duplex must be manually configured as
full-duplex or half-duplex.
