alarm-threshold [loop-attenuation | snr-margin]
Use the alarm-threshold command to set thresholds for specific alarm conditions. Use the no form of this
command to disable threshold settings.
Syntax Description
loop-attenuation
<value>
Enter a value from 1-127 dB. If signal energy loss on the loop exceeds the
configured value, the router issues an alarm.
snr-margin
<value> Signal-to-noise ratio margin. Enter a value from 1-15 dB. If the difference in
amplitude between the baseband signal and the noise exceeds the configured
value, the router issues an alarm.

No defaults necessary for this command.

Usage Examples
The following example sets the loop attenuation threshold at 45 dB:
