Your NetVanta 3000 Series Router is now ready to be configured and connected to the network. For more

information on configuration for a specific application, refer to the quick start documents provided on your

ADTRAN OS System Documentation CD. For details on the command line interface, refer to the Command

Reference Guide (also included on your CD).

Instructions for Installing the NIMs

Step Action

1. Remove power from the unit.

2. Slide the option module into the option slot until the module is firmly seated against the front of

the chassis.

3. Secure the pins at both edges of the module.

4. Connect the cables to the associated device(s).

5. Restore power to the unit.
